We visited a local Care Home recently and took some of our products for the residents to use. In this short video you can see how connection and engagement can come from using them together, and how empowering such an activity can feel for someone with advanced dementia.
We had a lovely morning meeting the residents and seeing how they interacted with our products. They certainly seemed to appreciate the visit and enjoy the Sentimental Seaside Puzzle. The feedback from the home has been very positive and we're working on a suggestion they made for an additional version of our tray puzzle to support those who are more able, whether that's because they just love puzzles, or they're experiencing less visual interference or just earlier in their journey. It might seem like a small thing but it's all about finding out what they can do and making sure they get the opportunity to achieve. It's good for their mental health, great for engagement and connection and empowering, who wouldn't benefit from that?
